How to store epoxy paint?

The storage method of epoxy paint is crucial. Improper storage may cause its performance to deteriorate and even cause safety accidents. The following are some key steps and precautions for the storage method of epoxy paint:

1. Storage environment

Special warehouse: A special warehouse should be prepared to store epoxy paint. The warehouse should be kept dry, cool, ventilated, and avoid direct sunlight and high-temperature environments. The warehouse should be ventilated regularly to maintain air circulation.
Temperature and humidity control: The storage temperature of epoxy paint should be controlled within a certain range. It is generally recommended to be between 15℃ and 25℃, and the humidity should be kept between 50% and 75%. Such an environment helps to maintain the stability of the performance of epoxy paint.
2. Storage method
Neatly placed: Epoxy paint should be neatly placed in the warehouse to avoid confusion and mutual squeezing. If conditions permit, it is best not to stack epoxy paint directly on the ground. It can be neatly placed on a wooden rack to reduce contact with the ground and prevent moisture and rust.
Sealed packaging: The packaging barrel of epoxy paint should be strictly sealed to prevent impurities in the air from entering. For unused epoxy paint, ensure that the opening is slightly closed to reduce volatilization and oxidation.
3. Safety management
Fire prevention measures: Epoxy paint is a flammable and explosive item, so open flames are strictly prohibited in the warehouse, and sufficient fire extinguishing equipment should be equipped. Alarm devices and fire prevention signs can be set up to improve safety.
Prevent leakage: The packaging barrels of epoxy paint should be checked regularly for dripping. If there is a barrel leak, it should be replaced or repaired immediately, and the repair process should be carried out in a safe place.
Classified storage: Other combustible materials such as oxidizers, metal powders, thinners, etc. should not be mixed in the warehouse. Different types of epoxy paints should also be stored in categories to avoid mutual reactions.
4. Other precautions
Avoid collision: During the loading unloading and transportation of epoxy paint, it should be handled with care to avoid collision and friction to prevent damage and leakage of the packaging.
Regular inspection: The epoxy paint in the warehouse should be inspected regularly, including whether the packaging is intact and whether there is leakage. At the same time, the storage time, manufacturer, batch number, and other information on epoxy paint should be recorded for traceability and management.
Opening barrels safely: barrels should be opened outside the warehouse to avoid knocking with metal instruments to prevent sparks and accidents.
The storage method of epoxy paint needs to comprehensively consider the storage environment, storage method, safety management, and other precautions. Only by storing and managing in the correct way can the performance of epoxy paint be stable and safe to use.

Tinuvin 1130: An Excellent UV Absorber

In the field of the chemical industry, UV absorbers play a crucial role, particularly in protecting materials from UV damage. Today, we will delve into a highly regarded UV absorber—Tinuvin 1130. Tinuvin 1130 : chemical name: 3-(3-(2H-benzotriazole-2-yl)-4-hydroxy-5-tert-butyl phenyl)propionic acid polyethylene glycol 300 ester; CAS login number: 104810-48-2. This product is an exceptional UV absorber that offers numerous benefits due to its unique properties. One of the standout features of Tinuvin 1130 is its excellent weather resistance. It has a strong ability to absorb ultraviolet rays, particularly those with wavelengths ranging from 290-400nm. This effectively prevents coatings, plastics, rubber, and other materials from being damaged by UV rays, thereby maintaining the performance and appearance stability of these materials and extending their service life. In addition, Tinuvin 1130 exhibits good compatibility. It is easy to emulsify in water-based systems and can be...

Medical Mask Synthetic Blood Penetration Tester

Surgical Masks Synthetic Blood Penetration Resistance Tester Medical Face Mask Synthetic Blood Penetration Resistance Tester is mainly used in the blood penetration test of masks, which ensures that medical masks can have enough protection to prevent the penetration of blood after splashing from bringing danger to users. It is an essential part of mask test, especially for medical masks. Face Mask Synthetic Blood Penetration Resistance Tester can be used not only to detect synthetic blood penetration resistance of medical masks, but also to detect other textile coating materials. When in use, it can be used to detect different directions only by adjusting the appropriate parameters, thus improving the practicability and working efficiency of the equipment to the greatest extent. Ink Abrasion Tester For Ink Layer Abrasion Test

Abrasion resistance of ink layer is one important parameter that is used to evaluate the printing quality. If the abrasion resistance of the ink layer is poor, the printed words on the paper or paperboard may become illegible and the part with printed area may be abraded in transportation, storage or in use.                   As a result, the printed words will be not able to be read by the customers, which cause inconvenience or misunderstanding and thus the product image would be compromised. Therefore, it is necessary for the manufacturers to test the abrasion resistance of the ink layer on the paper or paperboard before use.         Often during the shipping or handling process, printed products will be exposed to a degree of abrasion to its surface. Regardless of quality or perfection of the printed product, a scuffed, rubbed off or scratched surface would render it a print defect...
