TPP Thermal Protection Performance Tester) is used to determine the heat transfer of protective clothing or textiles exposed to flame and radiant heat sources. A tester that can provide a thermal protection index (TPI) calculated by software is the recommended tool for evaluating the potential of a material to reburn to prevent convective and radiative heat penetration. The analysis software can display the real-time temperature curve, and automatically detect the heating time curve to display the Stoll curve, so as to rate the thermal protection performance of the tested textile.
